Distance Adoption

actionAid is an international anti-poverty agency whose aim is to fight poverty worldwide. Formed in 1972, for over 30 years we have been growing and expanding to where we are today - helping over 13 million of the world's poorest and most disadvantaged people in 42 countries worldwide.

With a limited financial contribution, distant adoption means giving a child or youth in particularly difficult conditions the possibility of growing up in his own country, respecting his culture and human dignity. It means food, medicines, schooling, a family, the love from far away persons who are concerned with his growth and to participate to his life.

i adopted one child two years ago..it s a distance adoption...i receive pics, drawings and we exchange letters.
its a great experience because you realize that you can do a lot in a little way.
we can all do a little and change a lot.
